About the Rockies Golf Guide

Rockies Golf Guide is owned and operated by a group of Golf Fans. We wanted an outlet to share our thoughts and experiences with golf in the Canadian Rockies as well as provide an outstanding resource to keep golfers from around the region connected to the game.

Blog

The blog is where we will share our personal experiences with topics centered around the game of golf. As the site grows, we hope to add more authors sharing their own thoughts and experiences as well. Visitors will also be able to comment on each article in the blog allowing conversation with other Rockies golfers.

Courses

The courses section is a database of Canadian Rockies golf courses. You can search for a course by name, city, postal code, course type (public or private), designer, yardage, slope, rating or fairway and green type (bentgrass, bermuda, etc.), and find information on that course prior to playing it. You will also be able to rate and review each course, thus helping other golfers decide what courses are the “must plays” in the Rockies. The top ten list found on the courses page is the top ten courses in the Canadian Rockies as rated by you, the golfer. In addition to rating and reviewing the course, members of The Rockies Golf Guide have the added ability to “favorite” a course. When you favorite a course, it goes into your member favorites page so it’s easily accessible anytime.

Course Spotlight

In the course spotlight section, we feature one course every few weeks and give you an in-depth review of the course and hopefully arm you with all the knowledge you’ll need before playing the course yourself.

We’ve teamed up with some of the best golf instructors from around the region to provide instruction articles and assist in your journey to become a better golfer.

Gallery

The gallery gives you a chance to take a look at all the beautiful course layouts that can be found in the Rockies. Members of The Rockies Golf Guide can even upload their own pictures into the gallery.

Forums

The discussion forums are a great place to get tips, hang out and chat with other golfers from around the state. If you like talking golf or need help with your game, you’ve come to the right place.
